Many people believe cheerleading can be not a sport, I plead with to differ. We, as a a few year returner of the Huntington Park High Cheerleading team, know how hard, intense, and extreme the task is. Becoming in perk does not simply mean tossing on a amazing sparkly, glittery, and glamorous uniform; this means dedicating time, strength, and putting physical health at risk. The chances of getting hurt in cheer are simply or if not greater than getting hurt in sports, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, golf, etc . People don't accept what cheerleaders do in more detail, they know the dimensions of the basics which explains why they believe it’s not a sport.
By " the basicsвЂќ I mean straightforward cheering. Also that is difficult, having to do exact razor-sharp motions with your arms, moving from place to place to different formations, and yelling your lungs aloud enough for your audience to tell apart your voice as a person.
